A question on Credit Card Processing Companies?

2
Jay asked:

I have a faily small size business and I am in the handbag niche. We are really just starting out, but already I am losing money, due to not having a wireless credit card machine on which to process payments.

Is it possible for someone like me to get an account with a good legitimate company?

I looked at one particular provider called Samsclub.com and the total fees came to a bit of a whopping $78.54 a month (29.94 a month for a 48 month lease. + $15 wireless fee, $4.95 monthly statement) with no cancellations

This was not including the 1.64% per transaction rate .19 cents flat transaction fee.

This certainly seems very high, does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you sell handbags from a business or home? Do you have to have a wireless terminal?

Wireless terminals run about $800.00. Other than that the monthly fees are about right.

Once you go wireless it gets strange.

Use Simple Payment Systems. They give you a free wireless terminal, and beat other rates. I use them and have never had a complaint. I am completely happy. They train you for free too.The web site is below.Just call or fill out their form to get help.
Best wishes! Congrats!
